Children's Ministry
The children's ministry at Pine Grove is one with many layers. We offer many different avenues
for teaching our children about Jesus. Our ministry is a year-round effort to share the love of
Christ with as many children in as many different ways as possible. Below, you will find the
many different ministries offered for your children.
Awana Ministry Vacation Bible School Camp Piney Children's Choir
AWANA is a kid’s club that supplies fun games, theme nights, while teaching God’s Word
to the children. If you are not familiar with AWANA, it is similar to a Christian Boy & Girl Scout.
We meet weekly during the school year (Late August – May 1) on Wednesday nights from
5:45 – 7:00 pm in the CLC. (gym)

AshamedAwana is an international nondenominational organization centered around the Bible to
reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and to train them to serve Him. This goal
is accomplished through Awana clubs in local churches.
Our Awana Clubs meet Wednesday nights beginning at 5:45 pm in the CLC.
The different Awana Clubs offered at Pine Grove are:Puggles – The club for 2 yr. olds
Cubbies - The club for 3 & 4 year olds
Sparks - The club for kindergarten through second grade
Truth & Training (T&T) - The club for all third through sixth grade boys and girls. This is a
four-year program with a sequence of four handbooks.
Each club emphasizes memorization of Bible verses and activities centered around the Bible.
Pine Grove is going to be "Roundin' up Questions and Drivin' Home Answers" at this year's Vacation Bible School...Saddle Ridge Ranch!
Join us June 7-11 from 9 AM until Noon as we have fun games, great music, awesome crafts, and exciting Bible study.
Our VBS is for children ages 5 & up! We also have youth and adult classes.

Saddle Ridge Ranch VBS will kick off Sunday June 6th at 11 AM with the children's performance of the VBS musical...You won't want to miss it!

Camp Piney 2009 was a huge success. We enrolled 102 kids, had 18 decisions for Christ and had 12 rededications. To God be the glory.

Pine Grove offers 2 children’s choirs. These choirs perform musicals throughout the year such as Easter, Christmas, Vacation Bible School, and Patriotic. They also perform from time to time in our regular morning services. For children ages 3-K we offer “The Half Notes.” This choir which meets each Sunday from 5:00-6:00 p.m. in room C104. Children grades 1-6 attend choir in room C202, also from 5:00-6:00 p.m.
Our next musical is Sunday, June 7th at 11:00 a.m. Both choir's will come together to perform the Boomerang Express VBS Musical in our morning services.
